Future Group have just opened an innovative training centre in Newcastle, for delivering renewable energy training courses. The courses include things like Heat Pump Engineering & Solar PV Training. They required a new website to coincide with the launch of the training centre. The website needed to show off their full range of courses, and allow students to enrol online and complete payment.
My Solution
To begin with, I created a comprehensive plan for the website. I researched the renewable energy industry, competing training providers and the various career pathways available within the sector. I also worked with a professional copywriter to produce high-quality, informative content for every page of the website.
I incorporated careers advice and detailed job profiles into the website. These profiles explain how students can pursue careers such as Heat Pump Engineering, outlining the qualifications required and the steps involved. They also demonstrate how Future Group’s training courses can help students achieve their career goals. I ensured all content was optimised for SEO, targeting relevant keywords and focusing on Newcastle and the surrounding areas to attract local search traffic.
I developed a professional WordPress website that reflects the Future Group brand. The website provides comprehensive information about the available training courses, with clear navigation to help visitors find what they’re looking for. I also implemented an online booking system, allowing students to select their preferred course start date from an interactive calendar, enrol online and pay securely by card.
To simplify course management, I developed a backend booking system that allows Future Group staff to manage course availability and view upcoming bookings through a centralised calendar. This gives tutors a clear overview of how many students are attending each course, making it easier to plan and manage training sessions.
